The future tense and the polite conditional

The rules

The Lithuanian future is unusually easy: add -s- to the stem, then the personal ending. Most verbs behave the same way, though there are exceptions (būti → bus). This lesson also covers the conditional (norėčiau, galėtumėte), which is what politeness in an office is built on.
