Exam tasks 8 and 9: filling in a form and a 20–30 word notice. With model answers, self-check guidelines and common mistakes.
How the writing is marked
The writing tasks sit in the reading and writing part and are worth 10 points together. Task 8: a form with 5 fields, 1 point for each suitable, understandable answer. Task 9: a 20–30 word notice or message, 5 points. NŠA does not publish a detailed breakdown of task 9, so the trainer uses a self-check: 1 point for each of the three content points, 1 for the length and 1 for understandable, mostly correct language.
