“The system and powers of the National Audit Office shall be established by law. The National Audit Office shall be headed by the Auditor General, who shall be appointed for a five-year term by the Seimas upon submission by the President of the Republic. Before taking office, the Auditor General shall take an oath. The oath shall be established by law.”
