“The procedure for the entry into force of this Constitution and separate provisions thereof shall be regulated by the Law of the Republic of Lithuania “On the Procedure for the Entry into Force of the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania”, which, together with this Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania, shall be adopted by referendum.”
The procedure for the entry into force of the Constitution and its separate provisions is regulated by a separate Law On the Procedure for the Entry into Force of the Constitution. This law is adopted by referendum together with the Constitution itself.
In the referendum of 25 October 1992, citizens voted not only on the Constitution but also on the law on its entry into force, which is today a constituent part of the Constitution.
Remember that the law on entry into force was adopted by referendum together with the Constitution and is one of its constituent parts (Article 150).
